Hope ECD centre in 7 de Laan is slowly opening its doors again to serve the community with quality care and education in a safe and fun environment. We have amazing teachers and parents who have been proactive in undertaking training and understanding the necessary Covid19 risk management protocol required in order to get the ECD centre up and running again. As part of a phased opening approach there were 5 children in the beginning and currently there are 18 children attending. The children are able to enjoy a shorter school day with a different routine to accommodate appropriate social distancing with their time spent across 2 classrooms and our large outdoor space. In this season it is also good to see that some of the parents are able to find employment again or return to different places of work.
