The little ones in our Hope ECD have a long way ahead of them in regards to their education. And in order to give them a solid foundation for their learning, we like to keep it fun, casual and interesting for their inquisitive brains and busy bodies 
Here is Teacher Shanur with a handful of kids from the 3 to 4 year old class, taking a number concept deeper while ensuring full engagement with each child in such a small group 
Now that Hope ECD has been “in business” for over five years, we have seen the success of this approach and small teacher to learner ratio. Many parents, whose children have moved on to Primary School from Hope ECD, report that their kids are well prepared, curious and engaged in the big schools 
It is our hope that this in turn will lead to a lower school drop out rate, because this solid foundation won’t make them feel behind and overwhelmed 
It takes a village to raise a child, and great teachers are certainly part of that village!
