With thanks to the Lucy G Craft Cafe our Beyond and Power Filled Kids programs have been given 30 fun and educational crafts kits. The organisation who works with adults who have physical or cognitive challenges put together these kits during lockdown to be distributed to various communities. The kits include a candle holder making activity with lots of gooey paint and plaster of paris as well as a colour-in snakes and ladders board game. Once the creative part is done our children can also benefit from the educational Covid19 board game and info pack that teaches the correct precautions and cough/sneeze etiquette in a fun way. The young adults in the Lucy G program also used their sewing skills to make children’s face masks and included them in the pack. Thank you to Lucy G Craft Café for their creative generosity!
