Meet our Power-Filled Kids Afternoon Club! Every weekday from 2 to 4pm the children that are in the Foundation Phase in school (ages 6-10) have a chance to come to the Afternoon Club for support, friendship, fun and learning 
And of course a meal! Because where there is children, there should be food. Everyone knows that

The parents appreciate that the kids get hands on support with their homework and the kids love the music, dancing as well as game time (30 Seconds for the win!) with their facilitators, Lucinda, Shanur, Dean and Lunathi. With the help of our OT, Amy, the kids could recently be assessed for their visual perceptual skills (using the Beery VMI assessment, for anyone who knows their OT stuff) in order to see what other support they need to improve their literacy and numeracy. Because there’s no point getting homework done without also having the necessary tools and foundational skills to grow from strength to strength in their learning
